These terms govern your use of Decked, a free study and planning app. By using Decked, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You agree not to use Decked to break the law, upload content you do not have the right to share, attempt to disrupt the service, or access another person's data. You are responsible for the notes and photos you upload.
Decked optionally requests read-only access to your Google Calendar through Google OAuth, and only when you choose to connect it. Decked does not modify your Google Calendar and does not use Google user data for advertising or to train models. Connecting Google is optional; every other feature works without it. See the Privacy Policy for details and for the Limited Use disclosure that applies to Google user data.
You keep ownership of the notes, photos, cards, and study material you create. You grant Decked permission to store and process that content only so the app can function, including sending it to our AI provider when you request an AI-generated study set.
Decked includes public high school course catalogs and grading policies gathered from published school and district sources. Course credits, weights, and grading rules are provided for convenience only and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm with your school counselor and your own transcript. Decked is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school, district, or state agency.
AI-generated study kits, summaries, questions, and explanations can be wrong or incomplete. Treat them as study aids and check them against your course material.
Decked is offered free of charge and may change, pause, or stop a feature at any time. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and continued use means you accept the update.
Decked is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Grades, GPA calculations, and exam forecasts are estimates, not official records, and do not replace your school's records.
To the extent permitted by law, Decked is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including academic outcomes based on estimates the app produced.
